June 6, 2001
In this special newsletter we celebrate the 1st
month anniversary of ABI and just want to thank all our supporters and
congratulate and recognize all the new contractor members here:
We also have 3

The Word is getting around and we appreciate all
your help and feedback. We want to mention a special thanks to Ted Estey
of Polar Insulation and Neale Thompson of The Energy Doctor for providing
time and effort into telling others of this Resource and Association.
Thanks, Ted and Neale!
The site is beginning to show up on a lot of search
engines after exhaustive search engine submission. Ranking improves with
links from other sites, so if you have a website, please link to us. There
are banners available on the website for this purpose.
If you don't have a website, or would like the one
you have redesigned, or would like your own to use in conjunction with the
BI Web site, we do offer a greatly discounted professional Web site design
for Cellulose Contractors. Contact us for more details. The stronger
the Web presence is for the Cellulose Industry, the more likely
prospective customers will find a Cellulose site and thus we educate the
public and gain more market share as an industry. This helps us all.
From my talks with many contractors across the
country, it's apparent the Cellulose business is booming. There is
something that one company is doing that I feel deserves a mention for
your consideration.
This is an email I got from Fred Roeder of A.C.H.
Insulation Service in California. Fred is booked up solid for months in
advance and attributes his success to the fact that he has developed a way
to improve on retro fitting.
What Fred's partner and the true Artist who
developed this process, Mr. Anthony Hernandez, does is instead of
using the basic plugs to seal the holes drilled into the outside walls, he
actually returns the wall to it's original state by creative use of
painting and texturing. When he leaves a job, you can never tell he was
there, except for lower utility bills!
Hi Marvin,
Just had a moment and opened
my mail. Got your msg.
Today was a VERY bazaar day...
Honestly, we are so busy I just can't believe it and everyone is BEGGING
for
a place on our calendar, that is now booked SOLID thru the VERY END of
JULY.... and into August as well.
Today we did a customer down by the beach that actually understood
our
dilemma and agreed to pay us
an unrealistic (HIGH) price if we'd work on Saturday.
(Note: He just called
us two days ago and pleaded for us to do "whatever" it took
to get him done inside of a
week. So I showed up a little before noon today, to measure it
and be sure the figures on size, etc., he'd given me were accurate or
close
enough. My partner and his son showed up a few minutes later with
the rig
and they started the job. I wrote it up while the work was actually
being
done. (VERY WILD!!!) In the mean time, he says: "My next
door neighbor
wants to have it (wall insulation) done too," So I found myself
measuring
that one, pitching the homeowners, and writing it up as well. Put
THEM on
the install calendar for 8/16. God I LOVE this business!!!
That's how crazy
it is out here, for us
anyway, because of Anthony's ability to paint the
house
and
leave no visible trace of the holes. Anyway ... enough
of my bragging.
I am giving thought to flying
up to Spokane early in the morning to surprise
my wife and in-laws. That's
why I signed onto the Internet, to check
available "last
minute" flight availability... All thanks to CELLULOSE!!!!
It's nice to have a packed calendar knowing that I can get away at a last
minute whim. All for now ... gotta run...
All the best... IF it applies, "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY..."
And if not, ALL THE BEST TO YOU AND YOUR WIFE (anyway)...

This newsletter is getting lengthy and I like to
keep it short as possible because I know how busy you all are, so thanks
for listening and your support and if anyone would like to contribute to
the next issue, with tips or experiences, just let us know! We all benefit
from shared knowledge.
Thank you and we have a lot of things in the works
that we'll tell you about as they develop.
